Setting Up Your Phone


  • Use the rear camera—it usually offers better quality than the front-facing one.
  • Place your phone in landscape (horizontal) orientation.
  • Stabilize your phone on a tripod or prop it against a stable object.
  • Position the camera at eye level to avoid unflattering angles.
  • Leave enough space in the frame to show your shoulders and a bit of room above your head.
